Instagram is the name of a popular photo sharing social network, mostly used on a mobile smartphone, whether iPhone or Android. The social media giant gained popularity, mainly because of its many filters that are utilized to enhance a photo. Over the years, they added video, where a user can upload a 60 second or less video clip and posted it for likes, and comments. User profiles on Instagram are similar to Twitter, with the like and follow button, however the focus is on photos, videos and the most recently added Direct Message (DM), Livestream Video, Instagram Stories, and a feature mostly used on Snapchat called Face Filters. The Co-Founder / CEO is Kevin Systrom (@kevin) eventually sold the company to Facebook, for a very lucrative deal.
