Act

DEFINITION

  1. Is referred to the three act structure of a screenplay, play, novel, short stories, video games, and film. The three acts consists of; Act One: Setup, Act Two: Confrontation First Half | Act Two: Second Half and Act Three: Resolution.
  2. To conduct oneself or itself in any given type of way.
  3. A type of deed, as in an act of chivalry.
  4. A farce or charade that is make-believe, as in putting on an act.
