Sistas Keep on Smiling… Whitney Houston, Kelly Rowland, Janet Jackson, Diana Ross and Jill Scott are five female Superstars that will never be forgotten. All of them as had their hand at acting in Motion Pictures and Television as well as preforming in front of sold out concerts. Their combined singing skills are just second to none when it comes down to good old-fashioned R&B, Neo Soul and Soul Music. A genre of music has been under the radar in recent years. She’s defiantly one of a kind.
Still it kind of hard to smile, when we keep going through tragedies and untimely deaths. Whitney Houston was on her way to a career comeback, until she had a relapse with her drug addiction, and on the night of the Grammy’s, just before her big comeback pre-Grammy party with none other than Clive Davis. Whitney Houston drowned in a bathtub in a Hotel with cocaine and other drugs found in her system, it was determined the cause of death was an overdose. Such a great talented sweet person, gone too soon. Her Daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown then later died a similar death that was shrouded with controversy. Like D’Angelo said, I found my Smile Again – No matter what Sistas never stop smiling, knowing that someone else’s struggles don’t have to be your own. Never stop smiling Sistas because life is much too short, it could be over and a heartbeat.
Kelly Rowland has had major success with the R&B girl group Destiny’s Child, and Destiny has defiantly taken care of this one, she has since then had a ground breaking solo career, with Films and Television programs as well.
