Although this was not the Motion Picture “The Great Debaters” 2007, Directed by Denzel Washington , Starring Denzel Washington and Forest Whitaker, which was an excellent film, it was entertaining. But was it what most Americans think of when coming down to a Presidential Debate? In most cases it is SNL worthy of comic relief snubs, but what does it mean for race relations, gun control and the war on terror? In the movie “The Great Debaters” they relied on skill and knowledge of their history, they relied on their speaking voices, posture and tone. Book knowledge was important, but common sense and knowing when to back you opponent in a corner, then knock them out was paramount. Within the Presidential Debate of 2016, between Hillary Rotherham Clinton, Former Secretary of State, Former US Senator, and Former First Lady vs. Donald John Trump , Multimillion dollar Businessman and Entrepreneur, it proved to be a very non-traditional debate indeed. The next series of debates, besides the moderator getting stepped on, was more of the same. Watch the debate and the others in its entirety. Who you think won? Hillary Clinton, seemed very prepared in all three, but was she too prepared, and Donald Trump seemed to have no real answers to tough questions, but did he drive some points home? What did you think of the Vice-Presidential debate, was it a very interesting one indeed? Decisions, decisions, of 2016.
