It is recorded that American mathematician Edward Kasner (1878-1955), is credited with coining the terminology, however his nine-year old nephew apparently originally invented the term. Ironically, this term is closely related to the massive internet search engine technology company Google, which is dominant in the late 20th Century and early 21st Century’s World Wide Web.
