The Property Master is the department head responsible for the props used by performers or placed within a scene. Duties can include researching, sourcing, purchasing, renting, fabricating, organizing, tracking, maintaining, and returning props, while coordinating with the Director, Production Designer, Set Decoration, Script Supervisor, and other departments to maintain continuity and safety.

Set Painters work from the production’s visual design and may reproduce specific materials, periods, environments, or wear patterns required for the camera.
