Wrap

DEFINITION

Wrap means that a day’s work, a scene, a performer, a department, a location, or an entire production has completed its scheduled work. “That’s a wrap” commonly signals the end of photography or the end of work for a specific unit or person, after which equipment, sets, paperwork, and locations may still require strike, return, or closeout.
