The Beverly Center in LA
The Beverly Center is a shopping mall for an upscale shopping experience, a shopping center for the shopping elite! | Only in Cali! ~ In one of the fashion capitals of the world, which features Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Tiffany & Co., and many more stores to choose from. The Beverly Center first opened in 1982, built with the most traditional values and idea of an indoor Shopping Mall
with a roof, but still built on top of the parking structure with a very modern design.
The Beverly Center has catered to the most elite celebrities, as well as casual shoppers throughout southern California for many decades. The Shopping Mall is located directly across the street from the Beverly Connection, on La Cienega Blvd, which is a smaller open-air shopping center with a strip mall appeal. The Beverly Center is in direct competition with Westfield Century City another open-air shopping mall, which just completed renovation. Also the Grove LA, located in the Miracle Mile District of Los Angeles, California, adjacent to the Original Farmers Market, as well as the Writers Guild of America West on 3rd and Fairfax Ave.
Altogether, they are the premier shopping malls in the Mid-Wilshire District of Los Angeles, California. Another thing these prestigious shopping centers have in common, is they have stood the test of time, with the resent decline in shoppers coming out to malls. Particularly due the incline of the internet. However, the Beverly Center
and others have literally put their money where their mouth is, by spending millions upon millions of dollars in renovations, adding skylights, with a brand-new Art Deco exterior dressed in bright white with storefront restaurants, to highlight the Cityscape. The valet area on 3rd Street will be upgraded, with a state-of-the-art smart parking system installed. As well as what they call a multi-concept gourmet social house by Chef Michael Mina.
Of course, this spectacular view of Hollywood, California is accentuated with a plethora of elaborate LED screens, and don’t forget the Beverly Center Art Program. However, the Beverly Center doesn’t seem to be movie theater friendly, as it was in the past, with the Beverly Center Theaters 13 Which was replaced by the retail store Forever 21. For now, the nearest movie theater would be either Pacific Theaters at the Grove, or AMC Century City 15.
However, the 500 Million dollar The Beverly Center renovation is slated for completion during the holiday season of 2018. Most of the stores will be open during the renovation, however it may be challenging to navigate throughout the property, due to the construction.
